May 18, 2026 - Fly to Cambridge then Georgetown for Lunch

Five of us decided on this Monday to fly to Cambridge for lunch today:  Don and I in the RV-7, Chuck in his Comanche, and Mark and JJ in their Comanche.  What is this?  It used to be all RVs; and now mine is the only one with a bunch of Comanches!

So we flew to Cambridge.  It was hot today, in the low 90s.

Only to discover the restaurant, Carol's Kitchen, is closed today.  In fact Carol's is closed on Sunday, Monday and Tuesdays.

So we flew over to Georgetown Airport, 33 miles away, at Arena's at the Airport Restaurant where we got our lunch..

The lunch bunch.

Back at Essex Skypark, JJ and Mark are trapped in their Comanche because of a broken door latch.  Fortunately,  they were able to get out of the sweltering hot cabin after I got them a large screwdriver.
